Penalties
Joker -- region 9, owned by Kevin Hybeck. Was disqualified for all pulls before 6 Jan
2002 because he was under 1 year of age.
Joker was disqualified so he neither contributed, nor earned points on
all pulls before 6 Jan 2002. Affected
pulls are 30, 39, 40, 43, 66, and 67.
One was snow and reversed the medal standings.
Requested Changes
Olive owned by Kenny McCallister in region 4. Olive was sold to Josh Leiter in region 6 on
23 Dec 2001. Olive’s points prior to 23
Dec 2001 have been reset per IWPA rules.

M owned by Diane Jessup of region 2 should be Mhorgana. The name was entered incorrectly on the finish report for pull
58.
Molly owned by David Heil was sold Jeff Tinker (a
non-member) on 19 Feb. I put Jeff in as
provisional and changed the ownership to Jeff then reposted the affected pull
and standings. The affected pulls will
show Jeff as the owner and David as the handler and the score will be
zero. Molly will not appear in the
standings. Affected pulls are 8-10,
16-17, 26-28, 44-45.
Spike owned by Lacy Wood is a Boxer/Pitbull mix; not an
Am. Pit Bull Terrier. Correction made.
Rob Damron’s name was corrected from Rob Damra per Jerry Leist.
Olive, owned by Josh Leiter, was changed from an Am.
Pitbull Terrier to a Staffordshire bull terrier per Jerry Leist.
Lori Summers is now married to Rich Rodgers (per
Jerry Leist) and was listed as Lori
Rodgers at his pull. I have changed
her name to Rodgers.
Oalie – owned by Philisity Kitson was corrected from Olie per Todd
Pederson.
All the dogs under Todd Pederson’s membership had “Swampdog’s”
pre-pended to their name per Todd’s request.

I assumed they meant to write 1:03.65 and assumed a time like
63.65. One time was written as 114; and
74 seconds is still hard to believe.

owning a dog named Storm. Perhaps the
recorder mixed his name with one of his dog’s name.

Jan 4th, Kevin & Sherry Catlin joined IWPA. Feb 16th at Gates NC, Kevin
Catlin handled 2 Malamutes named Cheif and Suki. I’m assuming the same person and dogs and leaving the one name as
Chief.
Maulie
–
originally handled by Heather Leu in Jan. at Ridgefield and Heather was
assigned the owner. Diane Jessup
then handled her at Ridgefield on 16-17 Feb. with no indication of another
owner. I now see Diane also handled her
at Olympia in Feb. with no indication of another owner. At the Jan. pull, Diane was already handling
2 dogs, so I am assuming she is Diane
Jessup’s dog. I’m Checking.
Samson
–
handled by Ron Overgaard at Manson on 23-24 Feb. Assuming Pepperhaus Samson owned by Kent Stuart.
Daisy
–
handled by Anthony Statuto at the Port Clinton, PA pull 2 March. Assuming Brian Corbett’s dog, as Brian and Anthony are from the same town in
MA and Brian apparently was not at the pull.
Red
Rio
– handled by Holley Lowery at the Kingston pull is assumed to be Rio who was first handled by Brett
Young 19 Jan. I have also changed
the name to Red Rio.
Chief
–
handled by Ed Higgins at the S. Vienna pull on 23 Mar. Assuming Doug Marrero’s dog, as Ed
doesn’t seem to have any dogs of his own and often handles Doug’s dogs.
Instead of just assuming
memberships, I am carrying this as a reminder that we have some issues to
resolve. If you are on this as a
“membership not assumed”, besides not acquiring pull points, you are probably
not getting the newsletter either
The following
were marked as members on the organizer's report. Membership has no record and the individuals are assumed
Provisional until confirmation. Their pulls will become valid if membership
records their join date as on or before the pulls in question.

Jackie Jones – were listed as a members at the Port Clinton pull 2 March;
but were not on the membership roster as of 10 March and do not appear to have
joined at the pull. I’m treating them
as provisional at this time.

Chris Brennan – shown as a
member at the Sutherlin pull 23 Mar, but not shown as joining at the pull, nor
is he on the membership list as of 19 Mar.
Chris pulled provisional at the Hampton pull on 17 mar and leaving
provisional at this time.
The following
individuals apparently joined at a pull (shows in the organizers financial
report). Their membership was assumed
with the date of the pull, but is still being watched until the membership
chair has received the paperwork.

assuming this is Cathy Reinhard. Cheryl handled Buz(z) at Port Clinton; but
Cathie is listed in the financial report.
