Ricochet
Owner/Handler: Diane Krupski
Diane Krupski ended up with Ricochet "Ricky" as a fluke. Diane, Stephanie Pitz and her little son Logan in tow, took a trip to Southern Illinois to pick up a Patterdale female from Dave Heil. Dave went to the kennel to get the female, but also brought in a little scrawny male which they had named Vodoo (and for good reason). Vodoo was wild. Somehow Dave convinced Diane to take this little guy home as well.
So they headed back on the road with not 1 but now 3 puppies to take home. Because Dave also convinced Stephanie to take a small Pitt puppy as well, which we all would come to know as "T".
Diane recalls that stopping to let dog's out to go potty on the way home was an adventure! Vodoo was not leashed trained and he was wild!! Worse than a bucking bronc. That's how Vodoo ended up with the name "Ricochet". He was bouncing off the walls!! But 16 years later Diane wouldn't have him any other way. He has turned out to be a great little guy and has gone above and beyond of what Diane asked of him. And still does to this day. Diane thanks Dave Heil for convincing her that she needed this crazy little dog.
