Jynx is a little fireball of an Olde English Bulldogge who has been weight pulling since 2010-11. She was been the region 3 gold medalist on wheels every year from 2010-11 to 2016-2017, earned all of her IWPA weight pull titles (WD, WDX, WDS), in addition to a silver medal at championships in 2013, a bronze in 2015 and her crowning achievement of an international gold medal in 2017 at her last pull of her career at 10.5 years old, setting a personal best at 2900 lbs on wheels. She always gave every ounce of heart she could muster.
My first ever pull I went to I didn't give a thought to the little black spitfire dog I had. She didn't have good structure, and she wasn't bred for it. What I didn't realize though was that weight pull isn't all about having the perfect dog; it's about having the strongest bond, and having heart. Boy did this little girl teach me a thing or two about heart, and what a weight pull career she had. From being an afterthought and not even being given a chance to pull when I started, to culminating with a Hall of Fame ending!
