Princess Bekah

Today Terry and I celebrate our Princess Bekah as she retires her career as an IWPA Weight Puller.
We have traveled many miles for her to compete in IWPA events to earn Regional Medals. Those cities visited include many cities in Colorado, Casper Wyoming, Marysville Kansas, Omaha Nebraska and Butte Montana. She earned invitations to compete at the IWPA Championships in Enfield Connecticut, Estes Park Colorado, Post Falls Idaho, Calgary Canada, Spokane Washington, Grand Rapids Michigan and again in Estes Park Colorado. Championships were canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
During Bekah's 12 year career she earned 8 Region 9 Gold medals, 6 Silver and 5 Bronze. She also earned 1 IWPA Championship Gold medal, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze.
Bekah has successfully pulled during competition the total of 22,182 pounds on wheels and 5,301 pounds on snow. During Bekah's career she weighed approximately 18 pounds.

And I'd like to thank some important people who helped mold Princess Bekah into the puller and fur kid she is! A big shout out to Rodney Martin who handled Bekah a couple pull seasons as well as Terry for handling her, because she wouldn't pull for me! A huge Thanks to Sue Susan Chippindale Schneider, Bekah's #1 Fan. A huge Thanks and hugs to Maggie BLandin for caring for Bekah during a couple recovery stints while we traveled to Championship with our other dogs. A huge appreciation to Richard and Mary Felice with Ceasar and our Baron Benjamin as well as other competitors whose competition made her better. And lastly all the vet technicians and veterinarians who so diligently cared for Bekah with great professionalism and care!
