CH Kolfinna Tucha Rhythm of My Heart CD RE CGC WSXM SV and registered with Therapy Dog International, Samoyed bitch; Born: 4/1/02. Region 5. 40 lb. Class, Bred, Owned and handled by Beverly Detwiler. Tucha's first year pulling sanctioned in Region 5 was in '05-'06 where she finished 4th (out of 7 dogs) in the 40lb class on wheels with just two pulls placing 1st both times and beating the bronze medalist twice to qualify for Championships.

'06-'07 Gold on both snow (out of 5) and wheels (out of 6)
07-'08 Gold on both snow (out of 3) and wheels (out of 5)
'08-'09, Gold on snow (out of 5), Silver for wheels (out of 10)
'09-'10 Silver on snow (out of 6) and Gold on wheels (out of 6)
'10-'11 finished Bronze on snow (out of 5) and Gold on wheels (out of 8)
'11-'12 finished Silver on wheels (out of 18). Tucha was 9 going on 10 years of age.

Tucha reached her personal best on snow at the 2009-2010 IWPA Championships in CT at the elder age of 8 years old with a pull of 815lbs breaking the record in the 40lb class and taking the Silver Medal. She also won the Bronze Medal on Wheels pulling 860lbs.

Tucha is the recipient of the Samoyed Club of America's 2007 & 2009 Top Weight Pull Award on Snow and many of her working points for her Masters Working Title with SCA came from weight pull.

Tucha, just turning 13 on April 1, 2015 still does therapy work and is also a member of the Adirondack High Peaks Dog Training Club's "Dancing with Dogs". Yes, she can square dance and freestyle.

Although she retired from weight pull at age 12, she is still the boss and the grandmother and great grandmother of the pack at home. She is the mother of Zephyr, Grandmother to Draco, Volk and Valko, Sister to Etah, Niece of Zeus, Tundra and Tiguaq, and Cousin to Terra who have all qualified for IWPA Championships over the years.

Her pictures represent her passion on both wheels and snow.
